Statement of Faith
What we believe,
and why it matters
Our beliefs are more than words on a page - they shape how we worship, how we serve, how we love one another, and how we follow Jesus every day.
God
There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - creator and sustainer of all things, perfect in holiness, love and power.
Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14 · Deuteronomy 6:4
The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God - our sure foundation for what we believe and how we live.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21 · Psalm 119:105
Salvation
We are reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ - His death and resurrection - and repentance from sin. Salvation is God's gift, not our achievement.
Ephesians 2:8–9 · Acts 2:38 · Romans 10:9
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowers every believer - producing Christ-like character, gifting the church for service, and making worship and witness alive and real today.
Acts 1:8 · Galatians 5:22–23 · 1 Corinthians 12
The Church
The Church is one family in Christ - called to worship together, grow in the Word, share the Gospel, and serve Manchester and the nations with practical love.
Acts 2:42–47 · Matthew 28:19–20 · Hebrews 10:24–25
The Hope of His Return
Jesus Christ is coming again - personally and visibly. This is our living hope: the renewal of all things and everlasting life with God.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Titus 2:13 · Revelation 21:1–4
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.”
PSALM 119:105
