Privacy Policy

What we collect. When you send us a message or a prayer request we collect the name and email you provide, along with the content of your message and, if you choose to give them, an optional phone number and subject. We do not collect card details for any payment you make - those are handled by our giving provider.

Why we collect it. We use the details you share solely to respond to your enquiry and, for prayer requests, to pray with you. Prayer requests are marked confidential and are seen only by our pastoral and prayer teams. We rely on your consent - which you can withdraw at any time - and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the church. Your information is never sold or used for marketing.

How we store and protect it. Submissions are stored securely in our website database, transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and can only be viewed by authorised members of the church team through our password-protected dashboard.

Who we share it with. We do not sell or share your information for marketing. When a prayer request is submitted, a copy may be sent to the church office inbox so it can be prayed over and followed up. With your consent we use privacy-respecting website analytics, processed in aggregate with anonymised IP addresses. Payments made through our donation partner are processed by that provider under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you - ordinarily no longer than 12 months. Prayer requests are kept in confidence while they are being prayed over and are reviewed periodically. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights. Under UK data-protection law you may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time. To do so, use our contact form.

Children’s information. This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 through our forms, and our contact, prayer and subscription forms should not be used by children without a parent or guardian’s knowledge and consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Ministry activities for children and young people are run in line with our safeguarding policy.

Photographs. Photographs of church activities are published in our gallery and on event pages only where we hold appropriate consent. Consent for photographs of children and young people is obtained in writing from a parent or legal guardian before any image is published, and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the church office - we will remove the image as soon as possible. If you appear in a photo you would like taken down, use our contact form and we will action it promptly.
